RSRP progress meetings on current and future projects were held December 8-12, 2014 in Moldova and Ukraine.
In Moldova, discussions were held with NARNRA (National Agency for Regulation of Nuclear and Radiological Activities) and TSO Inotech, LLC. To complete ongoing tasks on Moldavian legislation improvements, some newly prepared / amended legal documents need approval by the Government. NARNRA prepared a comprehensive list of requests for future projects. The list was discussed and will be the basis for projects in years 2015-16.
In Ukraine, RSRP staff met with the representatives of SNRIU (State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine) and primarily discussed needs for infrastructure improvements, support for SNRI inspector's activities, and further development of SNRIU corporate networks.
