The US NRC Radiation Source Regulatory Partnership (RSRP) delivered a virtual training seminar on “Linear Accelerators Inspections” for regulatory staff from Latin America countries. The virtual seminar was conducted in a 2 hours session on February 25-26, 2021. The seminar focused on Performance Based Inspections and provided an overview of how Linear Accelerator inspections are conducted at the USA, based on the clinical workflow. A review of checklists and inspections documentation was also presented. Twenty-eight (28) regulatory staff from Colombia, Dominican Republic, Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay attended the activity.
