This activity was attended by regulatory staff from Colombia, Dominican Republic, Panama, Paraguay, Uruguay and the U.S. The workshop discussed the theoretical approach to perform shielding...
On June 17, 2020, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Radiation Sources Regulatory Partnership (RSRP) program met on-line with the Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (RURA). The discussions mainly focused on the RURA’s interest to start collaborating on the development of Rwanda´s radiation sources/generators database and regulatory development, supported by the RSRP. Adapting to travel limitations imposed by COVID-19, the RSRP has shifted many of its activities to virtual sessions via ZOOM, Skype and other means.
