During September 5-6, 2019, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (USNRC) Radiation Sources Regulatory Partnership (RSRP) visited Mauritania to upgrade the Advanced Regulatory Information System (ARIS) to its latest version ARIS 3.5 at the National Authority of Radiation, Safety and Nuclear Security (ARSN). RSRP provided training for the upgrade that contains a newly developed module (OCCUDOSE) to manage occupational exposure information. Mauritania will play an important role in testing the new module and providing feedback to further improve the software.
