The US NRC Radiation Source Regulatory Partnership (RSRP) conducted a virtual meeting with the Zambia Radiation Protection Authority (RPA), on October 13, 2020, to discuss RPA plans and identify areas for collaboration. The RPA Executive Director and Senior Staff Members and US NRC and AdSTM representatives attended the meeting. The meeting resulted in important discussions on RPA´s vision for future bilateral collaboration, which include public awareness activities, regulatory staff training, radiation safety training and regulatory development for uranium recovery and radon monitoring. The US NRC and RSRP will continue to consult with RPA about appropriate assistance for their activities
