From March 13-18 2016, RSRP provided training on the Advanced Regulatory Information System (ARIS 2.2) to the Zambian radiation Protection Authority (RPA). The primary objectives were the installation of the SQL-based ARIS 2.2 software, training for all four modules of software (Licensee, RASOD, Authorization, Inspection), and an introduction to the report system. A newly formed Agency of Nuclear and Radiation Safety (an Independent Regulatory Body since January 4, 2016) signed on February 12, 2016 the first agreement with the RSRP to design and implement a web-site that covers ANRS activities. From January 26th to 28th, 2016, RSRP upgraded the ARIS system at the Energy Division (DGE) of the Ministry of Energy and Mines in Guatemala City. ARIS was upgraded from version 1.5 to version 2.2. Training to DGE staff was provided on the use of the new INSPECTION module, which is now available in ARISv2.2. Several exercises were developed with current inspections data in order to demonstrate the integrated regulatory work with the ARIS system.
